1: 100 GSM
GSM, referring to the fabric weight of each square meter, is a common method to decide the quality of polyester-made bedding products. The higher the number, the better the fabric, which means 100 gsm polyester is more durable and wear-resistant than common 85 gsm or 90 gsm ones. The sheet sets from SONGMICS are all made of 100 gsm polyester to ensure long-term use.
2: 100% Double Brushed
Untreated polyester fabric is often relatively rigid to the touch, however, it can be super warm and soft after being finely brushed. In order to make the sheets ultra-soft yet sturdy enough to withstand repeated washing, not only have we adopted the thicker 100 gsm fabric, but we also brushed both the front and back sides at different levels to ensure its sturdiness. The quality is in the details!
Care Instructions：
This set can be easily taken laundered in ordinary washers and dryers. Hand or machine wash in hot or warm water with mild detergent is recommended. Wash at a high temperature to let the microfibers expand, releasing trapped dirt and micro particles. If you wash by hand, use a soft bristled brush if necessary and rinse thoroughly.
Air drying is highly recommended since microfiber dries relatively quickly. However, if you plan to use the dryer, set it on low heat or no heat. This set uses less water for laundering, less percentage of chemicals and consume less energy for drying. Besides, the fabric is preshrunk to avoid any shrinkage after washing.
Caution：
Do not use fabric softeners as they clog the open spaces in microfiber. Do not wash microfiber with terry towels or other material that shed a lot of lint. Wash them separately to avoid tinting.
